The Georgia Department of Education released its 2016-2017 list of Title I Reward Schools. We are so pleased to announce that MYES was named a 2017 Highest Performing Reward School (based on 2013-2015 data). A Highest-Performing School is among the five percent of the state’s Title I schools with the absolute highest performance, over three years, for the “all students” group on the statewide assessments.
“These schools and districts are working against the odds to provide an excellent education for their students,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said. “This is so much more than numbers or data. We are talking about changed lives for thousands of students. I can’t overstate how proud I am of every teacher, administrator, and parent who worked to make that happen.”
MobyMax is a new online computer program that students will be using at Mt. Yonah. Students will have access to this program at home. Access it from the link below or from the Student Links under the Quick Links tab on our site. You can bookmark the site on your home computer for easy access. A parent letter will be sent home explaining the program and how to login.
Check out the lunch menu online. You can also find it on Lunchroom page under the Departments tab.
